Musicians from all instrument groups with several years of orchestral experience can apply. We are looking for people who are motivated to make an impact through music and think beyond classical concert formats. Applicants should have strong command of their instrument, a desire to keep developing musically, and openness to new ideas. Just send us a message and briefly introduce yourself.

Rehearsals and scheduling

The orchestra plans tutti and section rehearsals in coordination with its members. Intensive rehearsal days and orchestra trips are planned, for example during concert phases. Rehearsals usually take place at the Mannheim music school, E4.

Perspectives with Aramis

When 100 young people create something together, joy is guaranteed. There is no other orchestra that creates such a warm atmosphere and close community with its members. At the same time, there are demanding concert phases that repeatedly bring major challenges. This creates a unique learning process that supports musical and personal growth on many levels. Regular orchestra trips create cultural exchange and special moments that often remain the highlights of the year.

Beyond purely musical formats, the Aramis Orchestra develops innovative ideas where different art forms enter into dialogue with music. Creative people from dance, theater, visual arts, film, lighting, and acrobatics are also warmly invited to send us their application and ideas. A simple hello is enough to get started.
